This poster is one example of the graphics I made for the three artificial intelligence conferences located in Helsinki in summer 2008. All three had to have some common visual elements and an individual color theme. In this project I designed various graphics, including logos, t-shirts, leaflets, book covers and information graphics for the events. website (screenshot)

Muistinnollaus is the annual party of Tietokilta and like C�nn�rit it has a different theme every year. Here's the poster and program leaflet for the 23rd Muistinnollaus - "m0 from hell". The poster is a parody on Dante's Inferno and the additional graphics represent the seven deadly sins.

Cännärit is a party organized annually by the freshmen of Tietokilta, the guild for computer science students. Every year the party has a different theme and in 2007 it was mafia. I designed two posters (sized A3 and A0), an overall badge (see below) and some other graphics for the event.

These are the overall badges I've done recently for various student events. I really enjoy making these because I can get very creative with the designs and the result is so different from the usual paper-printed stuff. This is my entry to the logo competition of pelikone.fi, a Finnish flash games site. It wasn't what they were looking for, but I like the playful eighties feel in it.

I created this piece while I was in military service. As I had all the clothing and equipment available, I took a photo of myself with my camera phone. Then I started tracing over the photo in a style I like to call 'vector inking' and finally added some color and a suitable background.

This was my entry to the Freestyle Graphics competition in Assembly '07 and finally reached the 5th place.

MadRock is a concert arranged annually by the Madetoja High School in Oulu. I got to design the cover for the live recording from the concert. While the name 'MadRock' is a play on the school's name, I decided to take the title more literally.

In March 2006 I applied for the Graphic Design programme in University of Art and Design Helsinki. This was the first stage of the application process. The assignment was to make a creative portfolio of me and my art skills.

My family has a tradition of sending christmas cards for our relatives and friends every year. In 2005 instead of buying ready-made cards I designed this card for our family. The text is "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" in Finnish.

This piece was also originally a little school assignment for a graphic design course. Because of its use as a personal bookplate, an ex libris should tell something about its owner. That's why the whole thing is based on the tools I use.

My school needed a parking pass so they put up a little design contest. My entry won and I got my pass under every car's windshield. Reference for the car was taken from a Peugeot 406.

This is a brochure advertising Aino, a Finnish search engine (more on the web section). The illustrations work together as a cartoon explaining what the application does (collecting, ordering and connecting data).
