Made for the Assembly '04 short film competition this movie is my first attempt at creating a film with a plot and a character. I did all the visual elements and asked my good friend, Ilkka Pasanen, to compose the soundtrack. Download here (29.0MB)

My second short film (see above) needed a protagonist so I created this floating-head-guy. At first I planned to do the whole body but as the time was running out I only had time to concentrate on his face. The animation test (4.9MB) shows the range of his expression better.

This humanoid head is a result of my practising with Maya's subdivision modeling. I aimed for original design rather than realistic proportions.

As usual I got a little carried away with an internet tutorial, this time about making a football. I added some wild materials and post-production effects and it ended out to be quite nice.

I made this short for a school assignment and later refined it for the Assembly '03 animation competition. It's the first film project I've done completely by myself (music and visuals). I came fourth in the competition. Download here (29.0MB)
